Yes, I have applied for H1-B under master's quota PP on the 3rd of April but have not recd any receipt notification...don't panic am sure we will hear something in the next 2 weeks...
but the deadline for processing premium processing cases is tomorrow (4/27). By tomorrow we should ideally be receiving the approval notifications and not still waiting for the receipt notice....

Man, Don't know how you have time to read all messages in the forum and respond so quick. It's almost like you guys are not human; just machines processing information and acting. This is way beyond a full-time job. It must require so much commitment and probably sacrificing a lot of your personal life.
I just don't know how I can thank you enough for the service you do to the community. I guys have good drive.
All the members have been around through thick and thin. Hats off to every body. I was one of the first few who sent flowers and had no hope that anything would come out of that. It was great. What started with flowers just spread like a fire and here we are.
I feel great and proud to be part of IV.

According to a specialist on immigration forums "Mr UnitedNations" the unused visas are directly being used for EB3 ROW , I am not how he knows that but maybe thats what is happening.
Maybe EB3 ROW being a diverse group is being given more precendence than highly subscribed countries.

Has anyone got an idea of unused visas from EB1 and ROW EB2?
It just can't be right the EB2 movement for India and China is hardly moving since EB1 is current and EB2 ROW is current since 6-10 months.
Which category does the unused/overflow visas go?
None of the lawyers I emailed have an answer (they like this retrogression btw more $).
USCIS doesn't care if a non citizen asks a question.

I respect the efforts done by IV for whole community to come out of this real time problem.
inthe begening people were saying something about IV updates as it appears to be false but IV proved that they were right and accurate and I think that makes community to trust IV.
I would l like to say a big time thank you to IV to make all the faces smily.

One thing to remember is this provision helps STEM grads irrespective of their EB-class.

I read that he is here since 2007 and card production has been ordered, we are here since 2000 on H1B with no end in sight. Really painful
If anyone gets year 1800's labour legally through their employer I would not find it problamatic. If someone gets it illegally by paying money or something I would call it wrong.

at some point the visa numbers are going to be all used up. The lucky ones would get their GC by then and the others will have to wait for a few months.
Why worry over it? The line only gets shorter and shorter and everybody will get their turn sooner than later.
As long as they don't waste any visa numbers, there is no need for any worry. Even their random processing order does not bother me that much, because demand for EB2 will be less than supply next year. Its time for EB3 to fasten the seat belts....

This notice is in reference to form 1-539, application for Extend/Change of Nonimmigrant Status, requesting a change of status to that of a dependent of a specialty occupation worker under section 101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b) of the Immigrantion and Nationality Act.
It is ordered by the Director of the California service center, United States Citizenship and Immigration Sevices that the applicant's request for change of status be denied for the following reasons:
As a dependent, the applicant's classification is subject to the principal alien's status. Yes, but it is not the receipt generation, it is the actual review of the case as per advertised processing dates. if your case is in the Processing Date window (based on your online receive date), then most likely your case is preadjudicated, and now is waiting for the visa in sequence of PD. Best of luck.
