I was under the same impression. I didn't want to change the address...but i did today....
If you do not change your address you will not receive any mails from USCIS as USPS does not forward "Return Service Requested" official mails. The reason being anyone can forward an address...and it may fall in wrong hands.
You will neither receive any notices like finger printing and neither will you be able to renew your AP or EAD when the time comes....since those will have your old addresses on file.

I wonder what this is going to fetch. Plus the idea that USCIS is going to call up CNN once they receive 50 flower bouquets is hard to believe, unless CNN goes flower-sniffing ;-) at government offices regularly.

Oh man. I had to burst out laughing on your post imagining how that cop would endure if given such a punishment. But pity that lady how much ever crime she might have committed earlier. Still pregnancy and delivery is a re-birth for ladies.
There are times when you enforce law as a cop. But not all the times. Wish there was some humanity shown by this person. Acts like these are like a drop of ink in a glass of water. These bad cops taint the entire department.
Disgusting, Sheriff Joe is monster. Perhaps he came from family with no respect for women.
On the lighter note, if I were a judge, here's what I would do with Sheriff Joe if he was trailed:
1. Perform sex change operation on Sheriff Joe and install a womb.
2. Perform artificial insemination on Sheriff Joe using the seed of big man like Undertaker, Shaq or Khali (so that offspring is a big baby).
3. On term, shackles Sheriff Joe and make him go through the pain of giving birth. In the process don't administer epidural or perform C-Section.
4. Don't repair any damage done to his body parts after delivery.

I have a question. I am a MS student who graduates late May and would not have my diploma till then. I asked my lawyer about the advanced quota and they told me that I would be needing the letter of completion from the school (which is not possible until I finish with this semester).
What are the odds of the Master's Cap still staying open in and around end of Apr and First week if May.
Anyone has the latest count. Please post it.

In EB2 I, is 2003 all clear? I have not seen anybody (except one who had Dec 03 ...sorry forgot the user id). So is it safe to assume that 2004 is the oldest.
Its almost cleared till Feb 2004 for EB2. So i am thinking from September 1st 2009, its from March 2004 to December 2004. Not sure how many pending cases are in this time period.

I can imagine your situation. Feel sorry to know that your 8 month old baby was beaten badly. Going to cops will definitely help you. She will be punished. Probably, she will be deported back to india and ban to USA. But, it may lead to put into you troubles for hiring illegal immigrant, for paying cash and not reporting to IRS. They may even review your tax returns for the past 3 years.

Well - I agree. What you say is true. In the past - IV leadership came up with campaigns and with plan and then the heat picked up and members started contributing and working hard and thats how all these campaigns are a success to some extent.
Now when new members are trying to come up with something - I personally feel that IV leadership must either endorse and support and guide or if such new campaigns that are not coming directly from IV core may not be advisable because they may not be the best approach - I think IV core can communicate the concern and intent to not ssupport new campaigns.
If there is no response - it becomes difficult for people to do anything because most people spring into action ONLY when IV core endorses the effort otherwise members will start campaigns - get no support or very little support and the campaigns will just go wasted.
On another note - it is always the best to join State chapters and talk to chapter leads and also mobilize people in state chaapter level - itis not easy but works in long run

I wrote a letter to the university chancellor where I graduated from and urged him to use his power to influence lawmakers to pass STEM -or similar -bills or face the consequences in the form of dwindling enrollment of brilliant students.
