What IV has done is commendable and unprecedented. I also think that most of us here do not know anything about the expenses incurred by IV team or money collected by IV team. It would be a good idea to be transparent in that aspect so that members can have a better understanding of the functioning of the organization and contribute appropriately. Just a suggestion; what do you guys think?

You need to understand how legal system works. Lawyer can not file lawsuite by himself/herself. It has to come from Employer, that too, when employer's H1-B petition is denied based on memo info or H1-B worker is denied entry. Damages (or Loss) must be shown before a civil suit can be filed.

When can you file WOM? It's a grey area. When the Name Check has been pending for more than 2 years like in my situation, then you definitely have "a case". However, I have heard that some people do it after "only" one year.

Do what you got to do and let others do what they think is right. I don't think there is one Success mantra here...because we are yet to be successful.
Honestly, I agree with you...but the underlying fact is some people get motivated for calling the senators and some for anonymous fax/email/flowers and some for rallies. There is definitely a subset who does all...but unless you are a Gandhi/MLK/JFK/Mandela....it's hard to drive people in one route.
Just a thought...

we do all of the above and more. if you like something more than the other that's perfectly fine and dandy. but if we can't collect a critical mass for an action, we lose effectiveness and shoot ourselves in the foot.
in a group this large you simply have to help the commom action and agenda for success. each opinion is important but at the end of the day the common action must be done by all, as far as possible.

True, but you are forgetting the basic definition of demand. Demand is willingness to buy supported by ability to buy. If you are from any metros in India, think how many of your Non-IT, mainstream friends draw more than Rs. 50,000 per month? How can someone making even Rs. 50,000 a month afford 50 Lakh flat?
If there are 10 people drooling out side Ferrari showroom that does not mean there is demand for 10 Ferrari :)

Juist to prove the original posters point about IV being intolerant about different points of view and the trigger happy attitude of some members about giving a red dots just because someone else speaks his point of view - I got a very personal and abusive remark with a red dot just for my post above. Not that I really care about Red or Green dots. My GC journey is over. This forum helped me a great deal when I was waiting for my GC. Do you really think that all EB3 people are no US-educated? EB2/EB3 is dictated by job requirements and not the actual qualifications of someone. I am graduate of a top ranked US university but applied in EB3 since my job didn't require M.S and my company didn't want to manipulate the job requirements.
I am sure there are many more like me who were qualified for EB2 but applied in EB3.
If this is the best you can come up, I really hope that this was your first and last post.
