Wanted to find out about the visa options for my wife�she will be coming to the US on an H4 visa�can a company hire her on an L1 or any other kind of visa or does she have to wait for an H1B until the next year quota opens up�She has an MBA Finance degree from Mumbai university & currently working with a multinational bank as a credit analyst�Kindly Respond.
She can get on F1 visa (student) with a full scholarship (since she has an MBA it could be possible) or get an assistantship (that could pay around 2000$ a month depending on where you stay).

I am in the same boat as you are ... There is injustice everywhere? As explained, I feel unjustice becoz EB3 can port to EB2 , I feel unjustice becoz L1,L2 get it quickly .. list continues. FYI... I came well before most of you guys in queue. PPL who came after me got Labor very quickly and are ahead of me.. So is that not Injustice to me? Shouldnt USCIS be notified and Shouldnt IV followup on adminFix ? when ppl jump or port dates from EB3 to EB2 dates will no go beyond ( just with 3k numbers) shouldnt IV followup and do adminfix so that some set of ppl will stop discussing this issue ? We can keep discussing things that will never happen.

That the dates did not jump too much in September for EB2-I is probably good news as it may not retrogress in October or in the following months. Even if it did retrogress in december or january, I don't believe it will go back beyond mid 2004.

As you can see, if you click on the image, EB2 dates have been very volatile, but the volatility is coming down over time. There has not been any instance in the past (except july 2007) when the dates moved significantly up one month and rapidly retrogressed in the next. Any significant movement forward has stayed at least for a couple of months, and potentially for 3-4 months or longer. So, October bulletin should have the same dates for EB2-I.

Please stop using condescending remarks. I have been reading all your posts and your tone is going from bad to worst. It is not possible to place all the threads on the home page. We make a decision to put threads on the home page that we believe are important for our effort. If you feel otherwise, that is ok. But it is not ok for you to use derogatory language. If you feel so passionate, why don't you start your organization and spend your time, energy and resources and advocate for the cause instead of posting derogatory messages for others. It is very easy to fire when the gun is on someone else shoulder. We understand and share the frustration with green card delays, but that does not give you license to use derogatory language. That too does not give you license to use derogatory language. In last over 2.5 years we have answered many thousands questions in forums, emails and phone calls. I have heard many a times from my fellow team mates that not once did anyone receive a Thank you note from someone after that someone was fully able to resolve the situation after receiving reply from my colleagues at IV. None of us spend time on this cause to receive a Thank you note, however, posts like yours makes us wonder that are we a community of thankless educated immigrants who are so obsessed with our individual case that all that we want is instant gratification to exactly know the current status of our green cards, without which automatically IV is at fault. Just so that you know, people spend 30 sometimes 40 hours a week over the period of years, just to read a post from someone like you. We received a call at 12:30am yesterday from someone asking about changing to another company because his current employer was not being fair. So when you mock, please make it clear that you are not the one standing in the line of fire and you are not the one who wants to stand in the line of fire. You just wants to be the one to mock and ridicule. If you are serious about taking the baton, please let us know your phone number and we will post it on the website so that people can call you when they have a question. Lets talk about passing the baton, how about we start from posting your phone number on the website, lets see how you take that challenge. No one is paid to work on IV. People spend time on this effort out of their good-will and passion for the cause. So please be respectful towards others for their efforts. And please stop being a pain in the neck and talk some sense if you are serious about picking up the baton. Email us your phone number and you will see it on the website within an hour.

Hi all:
Thanks for all your advice and understanding. I could not post earlier as we were busy following up the case with the authorities. I have two lawyers on board and a wonderful, unexpected, child abuse NGO person helping us deal with the situation. Most importantly, the baby is in perfect condition after having everything scanned and reviewed with two pediatricians�.it is possible, as one person helping us mentioned that the rough handling may appear exaggerated on the video bcos low resolution cameras sometimes exaggerate slower movements into sudden and forceful movements (I don�t fully understand)- which is also ok w/ me as my child having been safe is more imp to me....at the minimum she will be deported and barred from entry, or likely fully convicted and behind bars...from what I have heard till now, we will likely not be penalized as there are some protection and immunities in these cases for those who testify (and most certainly INS will never be involved)�and at most there may be some fines�
....and to some others who have misread a few things I mentioned: a/ the baby did not remain with the nanny for even a second after we suspected something fishy b/ we were not saving money with this nanny: 350$ (plus food, commute, and phone cards is above average here even for a legal worker. Also we selected her after observing her (and earlier another nanny) at home for 2 weeks with the baby while my mom-in-law was there and all of us had felt for some reason that she was the better one��..and to everybody with kids: no matter how much you trust your nanny, however well referenced they are- use a nannycam�.you may amazed at what you see�.there is something about having the whole house to yourself with an infant that makes some people crazy- so that their suppressed anger/envy and whatever else is hidden comes out on a poor speechless baby.

But as the father of a toddler myself, I must tell you that you did absolutely the right thing. Its not fair, not to you and your wife, your kid nor to other little kids, for that person to have been freely roaming around.
